A Data Visual Story using Tableau and other data wrangling tools utilizing 56,000 random artworks (600,000+ data points) sampled from the open access Metropolitan Museum database. The biggest challenge was wrangling raw descriptive csv's into individual data points that could be fed into Tableau. At the time there was no API available. What is Art?
An interactive data visualization project done to demonstrate the ability to present raw complex data sets while still being humanly comprehensible. Instead of introducing bias through aggregation, the course challenged us to think of ways to implement interactions that empower users to understand their data better and discover hidden inferences. This particular visualization presents UK food trends through the years and allows the user to observe food popularity through an interactive timeline using the D3 framework.See the Project
